The Flexa x Volero rugs were developed from one clear colour vision: Flexa’s Colour Family 2026, The Rhythm of Blues™. Three indigo trend colours (Free Groove™, Mellow Flow™ and Slow Swing™) form the basis for two exclusive collections that carry colour from the wall through to the floor. The result is an interior in which paint and textiles reinforce each other and your choices feel logical. Within this collaboration you choose graphic strength or soft layering, but always within the same colour family.
- Based on Flexa’s official trend colours for 2026
- Two collections, each with its own design approach
- Developed as a complete concept for wall and floor
Two collections, one colour story
Within this collaboration you will find two clear directions. The Swing collection translates the indigo trend colours into bold patterns with rhythm and structure. Think of powerful blocks, repeating lines and motifs that instantly frame your seating area. Ideal if you are looking for a strong graphic rug or a bold geometric rug that organises your room.
The Mellow collection takes a different approach to the same colour vision. Here it is all about nuance, colour gradients and a glossy pile that catches the light. Mellow comes in two shape directions: organic and rectangular. The organic versions bring flow and soften straight-lined furniture. The rectangular versions provide framing and finish off your seating area in one go. Want that clean base in your living room? Then a rectangular Mellow fits perfectly within our selection of rectangular rugs.
Developed as a complete concept for your interior
What sets these rugs apart from individual trend items is their coherence with wall colour. Every year, Flexa determines on the basis of international trend research which colours will shape the interior. Volero translates those trend colours into textiles that respond to natural light, materials and the way we arrange our rooms. That means you are not just choosing a beautiful rug, but a design that has been deliberately matched to the wall.

For the living room and beyond
The Flexa x Volero rugs were designed with the living room as the main space, but work just as well in an open-plan kitchen, dining room or home office. A well-chosen living room rug connects your sofa, coffee table and armchairs into one whole and brings calm to open-plan layouts.
If you want more softness and movement in your layout, an organic-shaped rug from Mellow is a beautiful fit. If you prefer clear lines and contrast, you cannot go wrong with the graphic strength of Swing.
Choose your rhythm for 2026
“Rhythm” here is about how a room feels. About repetition, balance and the way colour and pattern guide your interior. Flexa’s Colour Family 2026 sets the tone with three indigo trend colours. Volero has translated those colours into rugs that give your layout a firm footing: they connect furniture, guide your line of sight and bring coherence from wall to floor.
With the Swing collection you choose a clear structure. Graphic motifs and contrast lay a frame beneath your seating area and make your room look sharper at a glance. Ideal if you love a graphic rug that gives direction.
With the Mellow collection you choose softer layering. The colour gradient and glossy pile catch the light and add depth, giving your interior more nuance without busyness. The organic shapes bring flow, the rectangular versions provide framing. That way you shape both atmosphere and layout, within the same colour vision.
Whichever style you choose, you stay within one coherent story. The same indigo trend colours return on the wall and on the floor, so everything looks calmer and fits together better. That is exactly the strength of this collaboration for 2026.
