Modern floor rug - Solacio Leaves Terra is a distinctive floor rug with a calming, neutral terra color. The high-low effect combined with the leaf pattern brings the floor rug to life in your home. Floor rug Solacio Leaves is made with the special high-low 'cut-and-loop' technique where the pile is directly cut through. By applying this at two different levels, the floor rug has a special 3D effect. Floor rug Solacio Leaves therefore has a full appearance and gives an extremely soft feel. This pleasant soft feel is further enhanced by the material, namely wool! In addition to being a nice surface to walk on, the floor rug has many other qualities. Wool works as a sound dampener, regulates the temperature in your home, and is dirt and water repellent. Because of this, you have less cleaning work and more time to enjoy your floor rug!

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.
