Modern Area Rug - Nappo Marco Blue is a pleasantly soft area rug that you won't be able to get enough of. Area Rug Nappo is the perfect partner when you're looking for a new, striking modern area rug. The blue lines in the area rug create an optical illusion. The lines make it look as if there are cutouts in the area rug. But that couldn't be further from the truth! This optical illusion combined with the geometric pattern means you'll never tire of looking at the area rug. Area Rug Nappo is made from 100% wool. A fine material type that brings numerous benefits. Wool is fire-resistant, self-cleaning and water-repellent. Furthermore, it regulates temperature so you can also enjoy your Nappo area rug in summer. The tassels on each corner are a special addition and create a playful effect. Can you already picture how area rug Nappo will look in your home?

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.
