The jute runner has a slip-resistant latex backing and therefore stays perfectly in place. Give everyone a warm welcome with Jute runner Herro.

To extend the lifespan of a jute floor rug, we recommend using an anti-slip floor rug. Jute is a delicate natural product. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a guarantee if no anti-slip floor rug is used.

Material

Jute

A jute rug has a rustic, natural base and muffles sound better than a hard floor, but holds onto moisture, so it is only suitable for indoor use. Because each rug is hand woven or hand braided, no two rugs are exactly alike.

Polyester

Polyester is a strong synthetic fibre that does not stretch easily, keeping this rug in shape even with daily use. The fibre repels moisture and is hypoallergenic; spills are easy to blot away with a damp cloth.

Care

Vacuum on low suction and blot a spill with a dry cloth. A robot vacuum is less suitable, the brushes can get caught in the coarse fibre. Avoid soft soap, this damages the fibre, and keep the rug dry: jute is sensitive to moisture and mould. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.

Care

Polyester, like polypropylene, is easy to keep clean: vacuum regularly and blot a spill with a damp cloth, the synthetic fibre releases dirt easily.
